2010 Training Week 

The dates for the Virginia Chapter training week have been set for April 19th through the 23rd. The training will be held at the Henrico Campus of Strayer University. The course schedule has been posted, and pricing information will be following soon.

ISACA’s Certifications 

         ISACA International has developed three videos describing the benefits of each of its certifications:  Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Certified Information Security Manager (CISM); Certified in the Governance of Enterprise Information Technology (CGEIT); and the NEWEST addition Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).  These videos can be viewed at www.isaca.org/certification.  Additional information related to each exam including requirements, registration details, and continuing education policies can be found on the ISACA International website.

June 2010 Exam Registration 

Registration for the June 2010 CISA, CISM and CGEIT exams is now open. Please visit the ISACA web site at www.isaca.org/examreg for additional information.

CISA/CISM/CGEIT Review Courses

      The Virginia ISACA Chapter will plan to host CISA and CISM review classes for interested participants. The next classes are being planned for this spring. Registration invitations will be emailed to all chapter members when the details are finalized and will also be accessible through this site. Please continue to visit this site for further updates. NOTE: Members who are currently certified are eligible to receive CPE credits for attending the review course.

We are continuing to gauge interest in a CGEIT review course. If you are interested in participating in such a course, please contact the Certification Committee directly at certifications@isaca-va.org.
