ISACA’s Certifications 

      ISACA International has developed three videos describing the benefits of each of its certifications:  Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Certified Information Security Manager (CISM); Certified in the Governance of Enterprise Information Technology (CGEIT); and the NEWEST addition Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC).  These videos can be viewed at www.isaca.org/certification.  Additional information related to each exam including requirements, registration details, and continuing education policies can be found on the ISACA International website.  “A brochure explaining the certifications can be found at the following link: http://www.isaca.org/Certification/Documents/cert-SuccessBrochure.pdf.”

The Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC™, pronounced "see-risk") grandfathering program continues. For more information on this and the certification in general, please visit www.isaca.org/crisc.

The final registration deadline for the June exam is October 5, 2011. Please visit the ISACA web site at www.isaca.org/examreg for additional information.

CISA/CISM/CGEIT Review Courses

  The Virginia ISACA Chapter will host CISA and CISM review classes for interested participants. Fall 2011 review course dates are Saturday Oct 22, Oct 29 and Nov 5, 2011. Registration reminders have been send to all chapter members, and registration is also accessible through www.isaca-va.org/news.php. Please continue to visit this site for further updates. NOTE: Members who are currently certified are eligible to receive CPE credits for attending the review course.
