Q. Why should I be an active member of ISACA®?
The Virginia chapter of ISACA is a state wide chapter, and one of the larger chapters on the east coast. A large member pool allows learning opportunities and networking opportunities while developing leadership skills! Members that serve on comittees can earn 10 CPE's per year! Since the Association's establishment more than twenty-five years ago, Information Systems (IS) audit and control leaders worldwide have fostered and enhanced the profession and it's assurance professionals through the Association's advancement of standards and practices, education, certification, research, publications, and increased visibility.
Q. How do I join the Virginia Chapter of ISACA?
All memberships must be paid for through the international ISACA association. In addition to the international association fee, you will be asked to select a chapter for membership. The Virginia Chapter dues are $35 per year.
Q. How frequently do you hold Meetings?
The VA Chapter of ISACA holds meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. The meetings are held at "The Place" located in Innsbrook. Please click here for upcoming meetings and events.
Q. How do I notify ISACA (International) of my new address, phone, etc...?
Update your profile online at http://www.isaca.org by navigating to Members & Leaders, My ISACA, My Profile, Constituent Profile. Or you may send your change request via e-mail to membership@isaca.org or by fax at (847) 253-1443.
Q. How do I notify ISACA (local chapter) of my new address, phone, etc...?
Updating your information with International is the best way as this will ensure that you will not miss any communications and publications originating from International. However, their may be a little lag time for our local chapter to receive your updated information. If you would like us to immediately update your contact information locally, please send your request to membership@isaca-va.org.
