Dear Members and Visitors,

Welcome to the website of the Virginia Chapter of ISACA.  We have recently reworked our website to bring it up to date and showcase all of the good work our volunteers have been doing in support of the chapter.  ISACA Virginia is a vibrant growing chapter with many exciting opportunities for members and guests to learn, network, and socialize with peers. 

Volunteer Opportunities

We are entering our transitional period from our 2007-2008 Board of Directors and Committees to the 2008-2009 slate.  If you are a member looking to get more involved in the chapter, don’t hesitate to contact us using our Contact Us page.  The leadership of the chapter is all volunteer and we can always use fresh perspectives and energetic participants.  Special thanks to Matt Ritter who is coordinating the election process this year.

Certification Test Prep

Our Certification Committee has been hard at work forming preparatory classes for the upcoming June exam dates for the CISA and CISM tests.  If you are interested in attending either of these classes please use our Contact Us page to submit a request.

Need CPE’s?

If you need CPE’s, check out our upcoming schedule of events.  We hold meetings through May before taking a break for the summer.  We will resume our meetings in September.  Our meetings feature great speakers who keep us informed of the latest industry information.  If you would like to attend, follow the link on New & Events to register.  We encourage members and visitors to attend in person, share a meal and meet your peers; but if you are unable to attend in person, all meetings are webcast.  This is a great way to pick up CPE’s without taking too much time out of your schedule.

Upcoming Golf Tournament

On May 30th ISACA Virginia will be holding its Second Annual Joint ISACA/ IIA Captains Choice Golf Tournament to help the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls. This event is open to all ISACA members, IIA members, friends and potential members.  Get a team together and come out and enjoy a round of golf with colleagues and friends.  Individual golfers will be placed in teams.  Sign up early; the tournament is limited to the first 20 teams!  Sponsorship opportunities are also available for companies interested in supporting a good cause and getting their message out to our membership.
