Founded in 1969, ISACA sponsors international conferences, publishes the Information Systems Control Journal®, and develops international information systems auditing and control standards. It also administers the globally respected Certified Information Systems Auditor™ (CISA®) designation, earned by more than 60,000 professionals since 1978; the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM®) designation, earned by more than 9,000 professionals since 2002; and the new Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) designation.
Meetings
Meeting locations may vary with the majority being held at "The Place at Innsbrook" located in Richmond, Virginia. You can sign up for attendance using the link below. Meetings are open to non-members as well, though members receive preferred pricing. A meal is provided for those attending meetings in person.

Membership
All memberships must be paid for through the international ISACA association. In addition to the international association fee, you will be asked to select a chapter for membership. The Virginia Chapter dues are $35 per year.

Events
The chapter holds several special events throughout the year. They have included a holiday party, a charity golf outing, and certification prep training courses.

Volunteer Opportunities
The chapter is supported through the volunteer efforts of its members. Volunteer opportunities exist for many of the events and volunteers are welcome. The chapter also has a Board of Directors which are elected on an annual basis from the membership and Governing Committees which provide for the day-to-day running of the chapter.
